We just moved to Elmhurst and wanted to go out for our anniversary dinner. We were welcomed at the door and seated right away. The atmosphere is nice and mellow with even an adjustable light on the table. The waitstaff was excellent! Very professional and attentive. I had the prime rib which was cooked perfectly and my wife had a salad which she really enjoyed. Creme brulee was excellent for dessert! Thanks!

First time dining here and it was amazing! We loved the casual, modern atmosphere and superior food and service. Our server Jennifer was first class! The chicken Milanese, Lemon Chicken Skewers, and Chocolate Lava Cake were delicious! Thank you for an amazing date night as we close out 2024!

Service was good the food was fantastic. I recommend the Tomahawk pork chop.

My friend and I decided to give this place a try last night . The food was amazing. Nicky was great . She recommended the dates with bacon and flatbread.. I never do reviews. This place is definitely worth trying .

We stopped in after a Bears game and really enjoyed our experience. The service was super friendly and their suggestions were spot on.The food was delicious! We had the Athenian pork skewers with grilled pita for an appetizer and the mac and cheese for a side. Both were good, but the mac and cheese was exceptional. It was super creamy and rich while the pasta was just right, al dente.We had the short rib risotto and the exotic burger for our entrees and neither disappointed. The burger was juicy, savory and perfectly cooked to order (medium-rare). The risotto was rich, delicious and well balanced with the short rib. Neither over-powered the flavor of the other.We were too full for dessert, but next time we will try the limoncello tiramisu.*It's on a lovely street where we took a post dinner stroll. There were several other businesses to stop in including a gourmet donut shop across the street.

This new restaurant has a nice ambiance and the good was great. The service was exceptional. The owners really know how to run a restaurant. Everything was right about our dining experience at Modern Plate.

I was hesitant to get the chicken Milanesebecause of the scallop potatoes 🥔 ….not my favorite…decided I’d try…OMG!!! To die for!! Definitely a New Favorite ❤️Everything was Amazing ☺️
